Mr Daniel P Carroll
I am employed as an attorney with Davis, McFarland and Carroll located in downtown Pittsburgh.  I am married to Lynn.  We have a son named Sean.

Mr Donald M Czerniewski
I am an owner-partner with Industrial Control Repair Inc.  I have been married for 30 years.  My wife's name is Barbara.  We have one married daughter, Julie Lorenzo.

Mr Robert M Franko
I am employed by Beach Business Bank.  My wife, Melanie, and I are the parents of two daughters, Anne-Marie and Caroline.

Mr Joseph M Sheehan
I am currently working as an attorney for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  I will be retiring at the end of this year.

Mr Edward V Somers
I have worked for Westinghouse for the last 36 years.  I currently work on the cleanup and decommissioning of nuclear weapons production facilities at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina.  I have been here since 1989. I have been married to Theresa Sloss of Duquesne for 28 years.  Father Lou Vallone, also BLS Class of '65, officiated at our marriage.  We have two children, a 25 year old son and a 21 year old daughter.  My favorite teacher of all time is Father Henry.  I have used a number of his expressions over the years.

Mr Kenneth L Garver
I am the administrator of Jameson Care Center in Pennsylvania.   My beautiful wife Marsha and I try to spend as much quality time as possible with our three children, Emily (19), Jessica (17), and Lee (15).

Dr Albert J Shannon
I am currently  Headmaster and President of St. John's Prep School in Danvers  MA.  I have been married since 1971 to MJ.  We have two grown children,  Erica (31) and Sean (29).

Mr Paul R Dentel
I work for US Postal Service as a Transportation Specialist at our headquarters.  I have over 34 years with them.  I relocated to DC from Pittsburgh in 1999. I'm divorced currently but I had 2 daughters.  My oldest girl, Michelle, passed away last year at the age of 23.  My younger daughter, Adrianne, lives with me in Virginia and is going to college.

I'm currently coaching cross country and track at South Walton HS in Santa Rosa Beach, FL and our girls team is in the State Championship meet this year.  I'm retired Lt. Col, USAF, and have been coaching for last 14 years.

Mr Gary M Gayda
I am Controller at Hapad, Inc., an orthotic manufacturer in Bethel Park, PA.  Susan and I have been married since 1977, and renewed our vows with Fr. Dave Schorr and Fr. Joe Henry in 2002 at St Anthony's Chapel.  We have two children, Gregory (28) and Bethany (21).

I was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 1979 and currently work both  as the  Director of Campus Ministry and Community Service at La Roche College and Director of Campus Ministry for the Diocese of Pittsburgh.

Mr Tom Trempus
I am employed General Counsel and Executive Director at ALCOA of Australia, Ltd. The corporate office is in Perth, Australia.  I have been here since August 2001. I was an adjunct professor of law at Duquesne Law School for 13 years prior to moving to Australia. I have been married  to Janice Kowaleski for 19 years.  We have a son Alex (17) and a daughter Alyssa (16).

I am currently a caseworker for the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging.  I have been an employee with Allegheny County for 17 years.  My wife is Karen.  We’ve been married for a little over a year.  I have three children from a previous marriage.  They are John (21), Steven (19) and Theresa (17).  I also have a home based-business in direct sales.  We distribute Catholic products to assist individuals and families in learning more about their faith and sharing it with others.

Mr Patrick M Franc
I am the president of ARCO Aluminum, Inc., a $600 million subsidiary company of BP, North America and reside in Louisville, Kentucky with my wife, Barbara.  She owns a small business and is self-employed.  We have three children, Rachel (21), Peter (18) and Ethan (14).

Mr Eric Hafen
I have been in show business for over 27 years, as an actor, director and producer, with work on stage, video and screen.  I am presently the Artistic Director of a regional theatre in Morristown, NJ called Bickford Theatre.  www.BickfordTheatre.org When not in a theatre, I serve on two boards of not-for-profit organizations, New Jersey Theatre Alliance and Homeless Solutions, Inc.  I attended Boston College for my bachelors and the University of South Dakota for my masters.  I am celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary in 2006, married to Donna Caissey of Gardner, Massachusetts.  My wife is the Accounting Manager for General Office Environments in Somerset, NJ, but more importantly she breeds miniature schnauzers.  In 2000, she started Hafen Miniature Schnauzers.  We have championed one of our dogs to date, and have placed dogs throughout the country.  I am still a diehard Pirates, Penguins and Steelers fan, and I can’t seem to throw away my #23 BLS basketball jersey that I definitely could never get into.  I am sure there were times when Chico preferred I had never put it on back at BLS.

Mr  Kevin J O'Neil
I am currently working for the American Medical Association as the Administration, Production and Systems Editor for American Medical News (www.amednews.com), a weekly newspaper covering socioeconomic news of medicine for physicians.  I'm married with one 14-year-old daughter. I'm very active in our local community organizing, serving on the board for a non-profit economic development corporation. I also serve as a civilian leader in Chicago's community policing program and as chair of my local alderman's land use and zoning advisory committee. Mr Dave Durkin
I joined the Air Force in 1977 and worked for 10 years as a Russian Linguist flying aboard covert Cold War aerial reconnaissance missions. I lived in the United Kingdom for most of that time and married an English lass. We have two kids and live in Houston, Texas now. Our son is pursuing Cisco certification and our daughter is finishing her sophomore year in high school (2006). She wants to pursue a nursing career. I hold an AAS in Russian, a BA in Computer Science and an MS in Telecommunications Management.

John Earl Carroll
I am an author, consultant, speaker and president of Unlimited Performance, Inc. in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Lori is my wife of 27 years (as of March 2010). She teaches theater at Wando High School in Mount Pleasant and serves as chair of the school's Fine Arts Department. Daughter Erynn is married to Matt Andersen (June 2009 wedding) and daughter Jodye is a rising sophomore at Catawba College majoring in theater arts.
I have been recognized nationally by the Catholic Press Association for the column I write for The Catholic Miscellany, diocesan newspaper for the Diocese of Charleston that covers the state of South Carolina. The focus of the column is practicing one's faith in the workplace. My book Sales Illustrated: 68 Sales Lessons from Everyday Life has been translated into Russian and Portuguese. I've served as board president for the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children's Center in Charleston, SC and president of the Mount Pleasant Business and Professional Association. I was privileged to serve now retired Bishop David Thompson as the first layperson on the Bishop's Clergy Personnel Advisory Committee and served for a period of time as diocesan spokesman in matters related to the clergy sex abuse scandal. I now serve as chairman of the board of Camp Rise Above, a young organization working to build a full-service facility to provide true camping experiences for children with life-threatening illness and life-challenging situations.
