The Bishop's Latin School Alumni Association has partnered with Lighthouse Catholic Media to provide a resource which helps Catholics to know their faith, to live their faith and to share it with others.

Vocations to the priesthood can only flourish in a culture which is vitally and passionately Catholic. But, sadly, this is not the experience of today's Catholic Church.

  • Over 65% of Catholics do not attend Sunday Mass

  • Over 30% of Catholics do not believe in the Real Presence of the Eucharist

  • Nearly 120,000 Catholics stop going to Mass each year

  • Protestant Christians out give Catholics two to one

    • Lighthouse Catholic Media's program provides a practical solution to begin to effectively change the culture, one soul at a time. This program is not only consistent with the Alumni Association's mission to foster vocations to the priesthood but can also be used as a fundraiser to support its activities.

    What is the program?

    The CD of the Month Club is an evangelization and apologetic Catholic CD Club. Each month, members receive an exciting talk by one of the great Catholic speakers of our time, like Fr. John Corapi, Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Matthew Kelly, Dr. Scott Hahn, Jeff Cavins, and many more.

    There are three levels:

    1. Level I: Personal Enrichment - $5/month - I CD per month
    2. Level II: Family and Friends - $12/month - 5 CDs per month (same title)
    3. Level III: Family, Friends, and Co-workers - $18/month -10 CDs per month (same title)

    Who is the target market?

    This program is designed to reach out to everyone. The CDs are oriented for everyday life.

    How does the program work? Very simple!

  • The BLS Alumni Association will market the program using an assigned promotion code.
  • Subscribers receive a FREE CD with their first month's subscription
  • Each month, the Alumni Association will receive 15% of the subscription cost as a donation.

    If the Alumni Association achieves 300 Level I subscriptions, the organization would receive $2,700 over the year. If just 100 of these are Level II, they will earn $3,000. The next year, the organization would start from this base and build on it. The subscription donation is detailed below:
